I did not pay retail for any of the items listed, All together right now I have Less than 2k Invested. This is a biamp system. I am still working on a low cost marble & Glass setup for everything to sit on.

I am still working on it but for now it sounds great. I am very pleased with the sound especially when the the viper cables were added, they really made a huge difference in sound range of the speakers. I still wish I had a dual output pre-amp.

Try Sonic Euphoria's Passive Line Controller; has 2 sets of outputs, very neutral, virtually nonexistent noise floor. My setup somewhat similar; biamped Paradigm Monitor 9's, Sunfire Cinema Grand power amp, Denon flagship DVD-5910 and the PLC. exceptional 2 channel soundstage with PS Audio power cords and Power Director; Outlaw Audio interconnects.

System edited: I think I finally have eveything where I want it. In my opinion this system sounds awesome for the $$$. I am actually suprised at the amount of bass that these speakers have once I put the Viper cables on them. I keep the gain below half point and still has plenty of clean bass(I am not one for a lot of bass but the sound is very clean).

Glad to see it all came together for you. Nice Work!

Good suggestions posted above. I think you will gain the biggest bang for the buck by playing with speaker placement and room treatments. You will also learn a great deal.

Start with a search for the Cardas Speaker Placement Method. It will give you geometry for placement to evaluate.

Play with room accoustics. You can hang heavy rugs or drapes temporarily to see the effect. Even canvas painting's will change the sound.

p.s. I used to own Paradigm Studio 100 V3s and consider them to have been fine speakers. Enjoy the music. I doubt that anyone would laugh at your efforts, but if someone does, your job is to pity them for their ignorance. It's about achieving your own goals and nothing else. Thanks for posting your system, complete with pictures. It's always a privilege for me to get a glimpse into another audiophile's listening realm.

I found that Dakiom Feedback Stabilizers had a surprisingly positive effect on the system I owned over two years ago. Most of the system's components have since been replaced, including all of the cables, but the stabilizers have stayed in place. However, two sets have been upgraded since then to the second generation models. They are definitely worth a shot. Many people (myself included) really find them helpful. Not everyone has the same impression though. The great thing is that they include a money back guarantee, and they even cover SHIPPING. Pretty gutsy, huh?

Hi, nobody's laughing when you're serious about music.
I would suggest not to use glass or marble for your rack;
problems with ringing are very common with these materials, better use plywood or granite.
I've been building racks and stabilizers from multilayer plywood, filled with sand, and reached stunning results with both record- and cd players.

Pull the speakers away from the back wall. Will most likely improve the imaging.

Room treatments to tame the hot tweeter. (I use to own Paradigm) I would start with the first reflection point and go from there.

FOr one, place the amps on the bottom and the source + pre on top, of the stands.
Then, try to rationalise the cables, particularly keeping the power cables away from the signal cables, and the source signal separated fm the pre->power cables (if possible). If impossible, try crossing the cables carrying different signals (esp power) at right angles.
And enjoy the tunes!

System edited: ok, everything is hooked up, I am still waiting on 3 pair of Zu Interconnects, and I need to settle on the right audio rack to house everything, I am very pleased with the sound, great dynamics and sitting in the sweet spot you would think you were at the concert.
