I agree, I have these in their previous incarnation, the Kanto iPair 5 in my office system with a Squeezebox Classic 3 and it is great for very nearfield listening while I work.
Love the extra inputs that come with the new Yumi.

Sometimes when we still want to listen to high fidelity sound reproduction without having to fire up the main system, we need a reliable backup to satisfy our listening habits.
I could live with this set up.
