This is my Reference Headphone System and I love it!

One thing I really like about this system is the fact that the CD/SACD player and the Headphone amp use virtually discrete circuitry from input to output, and are not OP Amp based.

I did not realize this until a friend brought it to my attention!

Nothing at all against OP Amps, but I am personally a big fan of discrete circuits.

I am EXREMELY PLEASED with its sonics!

Detail retrieval, openness, dynamics, balance, smoothness, and organic naturalness is mind blowing!

Better detail retrieval and naturalness than my home based system.

No Sennheiser veils here my friends!

The 650's bested the AKG K701's, Grados, Beyer DT880/990's, and Sennheiser HD600's by a good margin in this system.

The Harmonic Tech Magic Link 2's are the icing on the cake!

Now I am wondering if the Harmonic Tech Fantasy AC-10 power cords would improve the sonics even further?

I am hooked!

- Sennheiser HD650 Headphones
First rate, Class A headphones. I love these better than all I have tried. Smooth, balanced, very detailed, and very organic sounding. Makes most all other cans sound thin and lacking in body, IMHO.

Single-ended aftermarket Sennheiser headphone replacement cable. Excellent sonics! Big improvement over the stock cable, IMHO. More open, balanced, dynamic, and detailed compared to the stock cable.
