Hi Bcos17, the green cables are custom made 10ga OFCcopper cable with about 6 layers of shielding.They are 1 1/2"thick but very flexible and light for the size. Sound is very transparent with pretty much unlimited frequency range, and it takes me about 8 hours to build 8' pair. Thanks.
Hello Icorem and thank you, when it comes to addition of a pre amp I am not sure I will go for one soon.This way it just sound right either with Wadia with CD's, or with Shanling with SACD's. As for the power cords on the amps I use PS audio-xstreme, and for the player custom Belden 10ga with dual Teflon shield terminated with Marinco that I have made. Thanks.
Great looking system Did you consider adding a pre to the shanlings ? I have them and I will start looking for a pre soon. BTW - what power cord do you use on the shanlings ?

Great looking system, Shanling tube equiptment is excellent sounding. What would the sensitivity be on these incredable speakers be due to the fact that they are devoid of a X-overs? Enjoy.
Bill thank you for your response. The speakers sound incredibly good - there is no boxiness due to the shape and 2 1/2" - 3 1/2" thikness of the enclosure. Also by avoiding a crossover and using exellent drivers the sound is very honest and involving.
