I have been curious about Audio Nirvana, and their own line of fullrange drivers. Would anyone be willing to give their feelings about these? I get the distinct feeling that AN's sites way oversells their own product. Thanks.
This is a very special and elegant system. I like all the non-mainstream components you've chosen. Are you using your Paino 1 as a transport only to the RW DAC? I'm interested in an open baffle speaker project. Is there a specific size the front baffle needs to be?
Pretty nice set-up. Do you still have Audio Nirvana Super Cast 15 Speaker in those Open Baffles? I had purchased someone else's OB set-up that had the AN 12" driver and the soundstage seemed a bit low to me. As if it was way below my ears. At the time though I had a modified Hafler DH-220 powering them along with a Pioneer Pre-Pro. Does the AN drivers just like tube amplification?
