I sit at a desk in a shared office for much of the day and this sytem really helps time pass. I am very attached to the Sennheiser's but they are starting to wear out, not the sonics mind you, but the foam over the transducers and other stuff. I have already replaced the headband and cable once (with stock parts).

I am definately considering the HD-650's, perhaps with an after market cable. But I will try to get as much life as I can out of my HD-580's.

I get pretty poor FM reception inside so a better antenna is on the list of anticipated upgrades.

Due to camera restrictions at work I can't post photos of this system. Sorry. I do have plans to post my home system as well, with multiple color photos.

Listening tastes: mainly classical and classic rock, I also listen to folk music and a good amount of early music (12th-16th century).
