Description

When the heat of the summer rolls in I find myself infront of the computer more often than lighting up my main system{Krells and 845's)

I have all my CD's ripped lossless to the server, over 1Tb. For now I'm running on the motherboards soundcard. I'm planning on USB DAC as next upgrade.

I have an Audio Note 3.1X in my main system, butit doesn't have USB in, so I haven't tried it here yet. I'm considering the Devilsound DAC.

My Scorpios rock pretty good on just a few watts. Take the time to find the right position in the room with them. I found that in my other system they like a wider triangle, with the listener sitting closer than other speakers.

I find myself leaning on sonos more and more myself. Have played with a seperate dac at all? I found the benchmark and the digital input on the cambridge 840 cdp to be improvements without altering the ease of use magic.
I have a pair of scorpios being shipped right now. as well. excited...

Yes, they're rear loaded.

For such a small speaker the bass is actually quite remarkable, and you can adjust the flavor of the bass by the distance to the rear wall. I have mine about 6" away from the wall in a small(14x17) room.

Hi,

Iv'e been considering the dm944's for my small 11x12 room. Do they perform well up agaist the rear wall. I understand they are rear-ported.
