Tvad once cautioned me through PM to avoid exchanges with a particularly schizoid poster with whom I was engaged in a proverbial battle of wits. This was during the daze in which Agon allowed PMs. His wisdom led me to follow his example of moderation in posting. Thanks, Tvad, for saving the wasted words.
I found this under "Systems," "Done for Now." I thought, "good, Tvad has finally posted some pictures of his system so I can see those AudioNotes being driven by the VRE-1 and whatever amps." Then I thought, "weird name for one's system, unless your name is Waldo." Imagine my disappointment when I found this isn't Tvad's system, but is actually Roxy54's system, and it isn't a system at all but only this thread. Cripes sake, post your system Tvad and give us something to discuss with you...or not. Glad to hear the rumors of your demise were greatly exaggerated :)
Drubin, Good question. I had forgotten them until you mentioned their names. They posted frequently. I guess that sometimes other things grab our attention for a period of time. I myself have posted a lot for the past year, because I have been unemployed.
Wow. I thought I was the only one who noticed this. Above all, I absolutely hope he's ok. That said, in regards to his posts, his VERY BLAND, BORING posts, it's been a pleasure not read them. After reading any one of his posts, I feel as though I've taken a very powerful opiate of some sort. Sometimes before I go to bed I browse through his comments here as to prepare "for dreamland". Don't misunderstand me, his comments are very insightful actually. It's just that his delivery is very boring. I've actually noticed, towards the end, how he seemed less and less interested in posting. I figured it was only a matter of time until he stopped altogether. Since he's left Audiogon, I feel less like jumping off a bridge.
