i tried to put together a simple system that can play any music up to a certain standard. i listen to music much more than i read hifi magazines. i am frustrated when my system only plays certain types of music very well and others like shit.
i am in music business and listen to about every kind of music when there is talent and originality.
i have many lp records so it would be nice if i can add a turntable but this is nothing urgent.
Currently the only acoustic problem is the lack of any objects on side walls that create a small amount of reverb and hall effect. On some recordings it even uplifts the mood but generallt it is not something preferrable.
This is a new home and under construction so I will hang my large print photographs on these walls and I believe that will do it.
This is not a dedicated room as you can see. There is kithen behind me. TV set on my right and couch on my left. But suprisingly this unevennes really helped me out on acoustic terms.
