System edited: Picked up a very nice CA 751BD and I am very pleased with this player's performance. Beautiful picture on BD's and DVD's and fantastic audio performance with movies. Even better audio with SACD's, CD's and music file streaming.
System edited: Pulled out the Acurus A200FIVE and replaced it with an Acurus A200x3. I don't need seven channels of amplification so I will sell the A200FIVE. Great amp but has to go to recoupe $$$.
Thanks, Bill. Your comments elsewhere about the NAD have removed some of my concerns about whether they have fixed some of the problems with the 175. I am now looking into this unit further.

My 175 has the AM200/VM200 combo and no I have not even bothered to auto EQ as of yet. I am waiting for some serious time alone when my wife and 8 year old will be out of the house for more than a couple of hours. As good as the NAD sounds right out of the box, I know with some patience and tweeking with the Audyssey and NAD curves, it will sound even better.
System edited: Finally got the pre/pro I have been looking for at a great price. The NAD T175HD is incredible and is great sounding for HT and music and operates flawlessly.
Added Acurus A250 to the mix to drive RF-63's and now the 200FIVE drives the RC-64 and RS-35 surrounds. This addition has elevated my HT system to another level with a detail and clearity that the B&K's just could not bring out. While with the Acurus's now, gone is the B&K's velvety warm midrange but the bass and midbass has become punchier and the highs more detailed.

My family room is 16W x 32L x 12H with my ideal seating position at center 11ft from TV.
System edited: Moved my B&K Reference 4430 and B&K EX4420 and now using them with a B&K PT-3II preamp to ocassionally drive my Heresys in the guest bedroom.
System edited: Added an Acurus 200FIVE(200w/ch) 5-channel amp to provide more detail with dialog and an overall "brighter" signature which I like better for HT. Yhe Acurus is currently driving my fronts and center while the NAD still drives the surrounds.
Both the Forte and Quartet are incredible speakers with tons down low and very balanced mids/highs.
The RF-63 is a more refined speaker with an overall smoother presence. The lower bass is not as pronounced but the midbass and midrange are almost seamless. I think all three speakers have their strengths and I really like them all. I do like the crispers highs of the RF-63 with the 1.25 inch titanium driver. I did add the "Crites tites" to the Forte which I think improved the high end greatly. I will also add them to the Quartets eventually.
I really like having a seperate 2-channel in my family room. To listen to some rockin tunes, all I have to do is turn on my Denon integrated and CD player. I don't have to bother with turning on my NAD receiver, CD player, both B&K amps, and the sub. Believe it or not, even though my NAD,B&K,Klipsch RF-63's, system sounds great, the "vintage" Denon setup with my Klipsch Forte's sounds better.
Feel your joy and the pain of having separate HT and stereo systems in the same room. Especially having twice the remotes. Should you ever make the move for your mentioned HDMI system will you nix the two system concept. At any rate, looks like a comfy room for movies or movies. Happy listening.
