Well after 10 years here is the final result of dreaming, reading, researching auditioning, trial and error with JBL to Klipsh to Acoustic Energy, Harman Kardon and getting a serious bite from the bug and what Hi=Fi really means, here is my system that WOWs me every time i sit in my sweet spot. It is amazing that we can reproduce this level of music in our own rooms now a day. To top it off the W factor enjoys it and approves it A lotú. Obviously the quest for perfection enables this hobby and passionate to grow and that is the next steps,a better turntable... baby steps, need to keep in mind that even if the wife to be appreciates and encourages this passion, there is a wedding in the horizon that needs financing. But hey, if shes going to be this supportive she is worth every sacrifice. Cheers all you audiophiles and comments are always welcomed.
Just picked up today... not sure yet about it, find it too SOFT. got a feeling that the tube amps might not be doing it justice. Any suggestions!!

What a diference this baby made.... The B&W are singing again, I will miss the glow of my ASLW8, but they will find a new home in the guess room with my old Aegis 1 and Arcam cd player and the nad pre... so when the guests sleep over they can fall asleep to some Bach

Nicely done. I was curious about that Audio Analog integrated myself. I ended up getting a Cairn Class A 4808 for use in my little studio system (with Linn Tukans) and it is lovely and seky looking to boot. I really like how it sounds with the B&Ws. I am going to try take the Tukans aktiv, so I am going to spend some time with the with the Cairn and the CDM1NTs. A little color may be just the ticket for them.
WOW... ok, so alot has happened since my last post here. New house, some new gear (soon to be posted). Just got a sub today and I cant wait to set it up (REL T1)
Thank you Jeff, and I agree, for the size of the room, I couldnt be happier with the results. I was thinking at one point to treat the room with some panels, but after borrowing some from a local store, I didnt "hear" a difference, so decided to stay as is.
System edited: Just added a new Preamp to the mixture, not sure its a fit, find that there isnt enough humph, but yet, i can hear some details i wanst able to before, specificaly Matt Dusk cd, Two shoots, song #6, there is a soft drum in the fare background that I never noticed before. I find it lack a bit of soundstage too compared to the NAD. I think maybe the tube amps might not be doing it justice... Ill listen to it a few more days and if I still feel the same, i might be putting it back up for sale.
Nice setup. Check out the Audio Electronics Tube Phono Preamp when you get ready. It works great (lots of air and detail) with my tube integrated. Upscale Audio has an Ultimate version (which is what I got) and I have been very, very pleased with it. It is a long-term piece of equipment that gets out of the way of the music.
Any opinions on a Linn LP12? My next door neighbour has one for sale in very good condition for 500$ canadian with a AT 1005 tonearm and a AR cartridge
Thanks Srwooten. Yes, i hear you about the wall treatment, that room isn't fully finished, I ordered some acoustic panels soon to arrive.and yes, I meant to say Wedding... :-)
Your off to a great start! Perhaps some rear wall treatment as your seating looks like it is against the rear wall?
It is nice to have a spouse who is supportive! Baby steps will help with that. Good idea. (see thread on coping with significant others for a laugh or two)
Were you trying to say (type) wedding instead of weeding?
