MY DREAM SYSTEM IS FINISHED ADDED THE MCD500 CD PLAYER WITH INTERNAL DAC...UNBELIVABLE DETAIL ALSO ADDED THE WADIA I170 IPOD DOCK HUGE DIFFERANCE IN SOUND PLAING THROUGH THE MCD500 DAC SUPER!!!, PRO-JECT RPM 10 WITH SUMIKO CELEBRATION CARTRIDE AND FINALLY "THE MUSIC" SPEAKER SYSTEM BY VIENNA ACOUSTICS AND 2 JL AUDIO F113 FATHOMS...THE SOUND IS INCREDIBLE NOW I'M IN HEAVEN.
I'm new to owning Mac. I was scanning the systems and happened on yours and it is exceptional. I've always liked Vienna speakers. I've read that Class D amps drive them best or they can sound muffled and overly warm. How does Mac drive Vienna? Mac amps do have a lot of punch.
Absolutely beautiful system. Now you can start searching the used record stores for all the music you wanted to collect when it was new or new genre's you've recently discovered. I've been completely satisfied using the Nitty Gritti record cleaning machine on the great deals I'm finding in vinyl. I do make my own cleaning solution because it's easy and much, much cheaper. Hope you have a used record store or Half Price Books store in your area. Congratulations on what you have accomplished. Listen every day.

Ditto on the great system comments. I couldn't pass up using the phono stages on the c2300 though. Also a Mc DAC/Wadia Dock for the Ipod would make a real difference. Happy listening.
