Description

I've tried Krell and BAT with S805, the high is too edgy. Plinius gives what I'm looking for. Detailed and smooth.

Great microdetail. Best with vocal and small band/trio

For lower octaves (I set it on 46hz) I let the Rels do their job.

My room is smallish. 5m x 3.5m x2.7m.

DIY acoustic treatment for first reflective and behind each speaker.

Thanks to all Audiogoners for helping setup this system.

Hi Island. Accuphase DP85 has independent volume (it can be used as a separate DAC) thus no preamp.

Very nice system you have put together. I agree with your choice of amplifiers, I started using a Plinius SA 100 MKIII a couple of months ago, it's a great amp, and a great match for my Tannoys. Good choice on the Accuphase gear as well. You don't mention a pre-amp, what are you using there?

Would keep the S805. They blend nicely with Rels,
and suit my music selection well.
