New system that I recently finished (I hope!). Sounds great with real synergy between the McIntosh gear and the Harbeths. I really like the look of it also, the custom built cherry, maple and granite stand from Eric at www.iconsound-image.com really shows it off well.
Great looking system! Beautiful rack....I would highly encourage you to pursue your interest in a turntable, I finally did it a couple of years ago and it was the best move I've made! There are some fantastic table/arm/cartridge in the 2k to 2.5k price range that will get you to nirvana.
The Zu Mother made a huge difference over the stock power cord. It also made a worthwhile difference over the Zu Bok power cord I tried before. My buddy Eric at www.iconsound-image.com made the stand. He's a real artist.
Nice looking system, and going analog will, I suspect, make you even happier. What kind of difference did you notice after going with the Zu power cord on the MC275? I do agree with you about the custom stand, which really sets things off nicely and appears to be beautifully constructed. Good listening to you.
my room is 10 x 11 x 8.5 feet high. my listening pos is 8 feet from speakers and only 6 feet apart. what is the minimum feet from rear wall the manu syay they can be placed?? thanks i am diasabled
Looking to add a turntable to replace the digital player, very good....but I miss analog. The Nottingham 294 catches my eye. Any suggestions at $4k and under for a table and arm combination?
