The Tannoy Westminster Royals have made my quest come true. I am using the system in my den for the time being and am pleasantly surprised with how great it sounds under the circumstances.
The JJs are parallel 300B's (2 per channel) @ 20 watts. The sound is lush and smooth. The Jadis Defy 7 are 100 watt push pull 6550 tubes, very dynamic sound but not the low level lushness. I am now experimenting with the Quicksilver Silver 88s. The Quicksilver 88s seem to be capable of both, time will tell.
Congratuations on what I know has to be an incredibly good-sounding system. How do you like your WR's with your 300B amp? I'm gearing up for that pairing now with my Tannoys.
