Hi Coffeey, Just revisiting old threads and noticed your posting for the what do you do and age thread. My dad is 89 years old and has CMT. He's a retired Port Authority of NY/NJ police sergeant and somehow (thru plain grit) managed to put in his 25 years even though the CMT was beginnning to have an effect on him (at that point mainly the dropped foot and slight limp), so I have a little idea what it took for you to keep going. He found life after the police force as a field foreman for a construction company and then a bank messenger. He was very lucky in that the progression of the disease was slow and didnt severely affect him til he was in his 70's (leg braces and walker now, some trouble swallowing). Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know someone else out here knows a little bit of what youve been through. Nice system to listen to! Not many know of Clements but I've seen a few speaker reviews of theirs. Anyway, be as well as you can-music always gets me through the rough spots (have asthma).
