Hi Bundee, Thank you for responding! I'm kinda leaning, maybe, towards a dig. Sony AV50(?) and using the 1's (eventually) as rears, but the tuner in the 2270 is so sweet I can't imagine ditching it. Ed of Antenna Performance wants to perform his well known magic on it so I'm kinda sorta leaning that way as well (humph!). In reality, all my time is being spent with DIY acoustic treatments/experiments in my living room, so anything I do will be well down the pike.
Cute story on the DVD, I was in Circ. City looking at L-tops when I found it. It was the very last one, a static display with no box. Of course, nobody even knew what SACD was! Thanks again, Gordy
