For now it will be breaking in two weeks (december 1 2005) and i am in a too small room for that system. I listen Frank Zappa, Stravinsky and old Progressif Rock. But it sound better than my old system. I am verry satisfied for the price.
No i dont compare that two model. I am sold to Simaudio i bought it without a try and i am very happy. But i read on the net everything i found on Simaudio and Totem. ok bye thanks for asking.
Thanks, i am from Québec Canada. No i don't have Room treatments and my bed room is to small, it's 9 ft by 12 ft. But i will moove in a bigger one soon, 11 ft by 26 ft. I know it's to long but i don't have the choice, it's not my house. I looked the pictures here in the virtual system and most of the people put the speakers 3 to 5 ft from the back wall and 6 to 12 ft between the speakers. It's verry interresting. I think i will put my speakers 3 ft from the back and 7 ft between. What do you think? Thanks
Yes, like i said up there in the low volume it sound great, but the high is noisy a litle in the loud. But i think it's because my Forests are not break-in yet. Sorry my english is poor. Or the i-3 is not enough powerfull to drive correctly in the loud section, maybe it's that.
How has the i-3 fared with the Forests thus far? I have an i-5 on the way for mine, although I am greatly enjoying them powered by the PrimaLuna Prologue Two at the moment. We'll see if the Sim can best it?
What a nice combination. Did you also audition the Nordost Blue Heaven and compare it to Red Dawn? If yes, how do they compare? For the amps and CD player - have you replaced the stock power cords?
The i-3 power the Forest verry good in the low volume but in a litle loud volume it's hard for the i-3 to deliver the marchandise. Maybe it's because the Forest are not breaking yet. I will come back in the begening of December for a final answer.
Nice system!Did your system name come from an electrical accident or from being a Zappa fan?Watch out where the huskys go,and dont eat the yello snow!Peace,Ray
