I like to listen to music when I'm on the PC, so I needed something that would work good near-field, though sometimes I'll sit about 10 feet away for better fidelity. Looked to add something seamless into my basement/computer room. Some sacrifice made for room acoustics.
Gorgeous integrated amp. Impeccable build quality, and sounds as good as it looks. Mine has the 6550 tubes.
Usher Audio X-719
Beefy monitor. Excellent bass for a monitor.
Cobalt Ultimate
Decent interconnect, locking plugs
Dave Speltz's Anti-Cable Anti-Cable
One of the best values in home audio. The best speaker cable I've heard. Excellent bass extension and balance up and down the frequency range. No discernible sonic signature.
Nice. I'm looking do to something similar, but with the speakers on the other side of the room from the PC. Also, I just ordered a Cayin A-70T. What are you using for DAC from the PC? Or are you using analog-out from your soundcard?
