Sweet system. With those Avalons set up well, with the right room and treatments, all the right gear, you should never need a center channel or rear channels. They can throw a giant sound field that is just enormous. It will totally envelope you and sound will come from all over. Like you are in a giant sound bubble and in the world where the sound was recorded. I'm sure it sounds awesome now, but what they are capable of is unreal when totally dialed in. Those drivers are also big enough with the right gear and amps to never need subs. Save the space and spend the money on getting those Avalons dialed in perfect instead :)

Hello Jan, how are you?

Yes, the Kharma center speaker is fantastic and i'm sure that in the HT the center speaker represent the 50% of the full system!
His quality is very important for me.

Have you still bettered your fantastic HT system ?

Greetings, Romano

Hi Edorr, You are right! I use for main speakers my Goldmund mono amps Mimesis 29.4; for the center and rear speakers I use 3 of 7 channels of the Dreadnaught amplifier. In the future I think to purchase one other mono Goldmund amp for my beautifull center Kharma speaker.

You are not doing your excellent speakers any justice with a 7 channel power amp. Get three monos for F/L/C and a stereo amp for surround channel.

I never heard a Avalon speaker I did not like
