Description

Totally new at this. Started over 2 years ago, and although I like the system I got this feeling that I could have done much better with less money. If anyone can help improving the system without the need of a second mortagage would be perfect.

The room is HT dedicated and it is 18 feet wide x 22 feet. I sit about 13 feet away from the screen and the speakers, the screen is 100 ".

The projector is the Panasonic PTAE 900 and I am quite happy with the picture quality. It is the sound that worries me.

Once again if anyone has ideas of how to improve the whole system be my guest, even by moving subwoofer, that is quite close to the Proac 2.5.

Thanks all

Add some accoustic panels (in-expensive), space your speakers out & toe them in a little more, move your sub to a corner position. (free)

I have tried almost everything to make it sound better, but i made a couple (maybe more) mistakes. Window, no carpet, no door, etc.. I will make some changes with the front speakers, i have surround speakers, and working ok, np about that

Regarding the Parasound.... well, my ear is not the best one to judge, but I think the difference between this and the Onkyo that I had previously is not that big, and the $$$ it is

Thanks

Congrats on having such a nice space reserved for A/V. Do you have surround speakers to go along with the front three you have listed? Moving your sub around, any where from its present position, to the corner, or a side wall can make a plus or minus, have to try and listen. Bringing your front mains out into the room may add greater spaciousness to the sound. How do you like your Parasound pre-amp? Having said that, pass the popcorn please. Glen
