This is a system we put in a new room that we recently dug out of what was a crawl space. I picked out many of the items while my dad purchased them, so not everything is as I would want. It is running off its own dedicated circuit and the Monster clean power helps considerably. We had it in our livingroom temporarily without the filter. I would prefer all Transparent Cable as we have on our other theater. I love tweaking things so if anyone has any tips let me know! Thanks for looking.
Looks pretty good. why don't you get rid of one sofa and place them facing the screen one behind the other. build a platform to elevate sofa so people can see the screen. the way you have it now, the large cushions on the sofa are eating up your sound. good luck

Gutsy move in digging out the crawl space. Great idea, and you did a find job in the making of a dedicated a/v room. Having the self to sit gear on is great use of space.
We had to have it so high in order for the footings to hold the rest of the house up. It was flat on there but we actually have made an angle stand so it points down towards the couches. We also made sure to buy couches that were very tall. Thanks for the comments!
