Then that would mean that the wood would probibility sink in water. I am just curious, what type of wood is it & what is its specific density. Anyway... Trrrific system you have experimemnted with many great components over the years I am sure. Now I know that you are primarily Digital, but how about a turntable sitting on top of a pile of that special wood.

The wood id from Thailand with specific gravity higher than 1. (density higher than water). that piece of wood is over 150lbs.
