I've thought about Van A products on more than one occasion but never took the plunge. How did you decide on them and how good are they?

I don't know the speakers. I recently sold my system due to a economic downturn and went with a much smaller system and I am satisfied with it. Your choices for a starter are excellent. You did your homework well.

I have a pair of Carbon 7 monitors from Fritz (www.fritzspeakers.com) that I am demoing. They are a better speaker than the Arro's (more depth, range, "fullness", etc.). I may be upgrading to the Carbon 7s soon.
