I was using hand-me-down 40year old wharfedale e50s, with a kenwood tube amp for many years. Decided to revamp the system after tripping over the entry level arcams on sale.

I paired them with the totems, which I find a very fine match. I was worried about underpowering the ineffecient totems, but I passively bi-amped them with the extra outputs from the receiver.

Room shape is a problem, but overall I am super happy with the system.

I also hooked up an MGE pulsar evolution UPS to give some clean power.
