Went from separates to integrated amplifier. Had a Krell KST100 with a Electrocompaniet 4.6 preamp. Don t really listen very loud and I think the Krell was under used. The Pathos only looses a bit on the bass, that's not a surprise, and soundstage. But I'm happy with the detail and generally a non fatigue sound. Doesn´t feel under powered at all. As usuall will continue to try cables and eventually upgrade cd player.
System edited: Just got the Katana directly from China. Replaced Alchemist Nexus. Great player, very detailed, thighter bass, smooth. And what a build quality! I'll try balanced connection soon.
System edited: Replaced Nordost red dawn with Acoustic Zen Matrix reference II. System sounds more natural and musical. I love the nordost cables but I found them more difficult to system match. For now with present system the Acoustic Zen cables are great. The best way I can describe them is:natural.
Very Nice System! I am using Sonus Faber Concertos with a Cary Tube Integrated and ended up settling on the Audience Au24 Cables. I bet they would compliment your system nicely. I love your speakers. Maybe one day I will own a pair but I cannot complan about my Concertos.
Nice setup...I think you have the best in cables allready but remember price doesn't equal good sound...funny how that is though. I would suggest Audience Au24 cables or try kimber select cables.
