Description

A bedroom system on a tiny budget for a new dad. I am a little new to high end audio so I am learning a few things. For this system the goal is to build an extremely affordable system that sounds very good, and has excellent quality components. This entire system has been purchased from classifieds for very little cost. So far I would say the speakers are the weakest point. I think they are at least 12 years old, but they seem to be in good condition. Long term I would like to upgrade this system with a better amp; speakers, and cables.

The biggest challenge in this game is to get big bang for the buck. You are off to a good start. I would love to know what your speakers are. I've heard some incredible sound from vintage book shelve speakers.
