I bet the music comes through very nicely. Gotta love a rebuilt vintage Marantz reciever! What is the CD player in the system, I don't see it listed? Regards, Jim.

I love the Fritz speakers - great nearfield monitors. They took forever (100+ hours) to break-in. You have to use a sub with these, IMHO. They roll off rather dramatically below about 60 Hz, which is where I have the sub's crossover set. They are also sensitive to placement - they like a wide stance (virtually no toe-in).

I like it. Very simple and straightforward. How do you like the Fritz monitors. I'm wondering where you have them crossed over and also, have you been able to compare them to other similar speakers in your system.
