Adding this unit from the KW SACD brought more delicacy on highs, more air between instruments,a higher resolution soundstage where I can better decipher instrument etc, and a more defining mid base to low base. All of this improved while retaining the overall same tones and dynamics of the KW SACD. This was especially noticable in the mids where much soundstage involvement took place. I did notice at times a thinner vocal or piano bloom occuring with the A1008 but I believe this sound was more accurate perhaps due in part to noise of the KW SACD transport and/or better transisters or something in the A1008. Sound comparisons were both compared with the tube selections of both players.

Sorry for the late reply... I used to have the Sunfire signature amp. Since going to these AR's I can say that I notice a more delicate, sweeter sound while retaining the bottom tightness and depth. Midrange is clearer and smooth.
Man, you need to do some Visuals with a dedicated room like that! Nice audio setup. I'm using the PS Audio digital amps and find them quite listenable. I'd also like to hear your take on the Harmonic Tech cables. I run them currently. I'm quite pleased with them. Have you found anything superior for the $? My system is not as pictured any longer; now it's Rega Planet 2000, PS Audio PCA-2 preamp, two PS Audio HCA-2 amps, and Chapman Audio T-7 speakers. Email me!
Werry nice setup, love the room. How would you caracterise the sound from the digital amps ? What equipment did you change from ? Im currently using a EC setup myself and are considering some icepower options.
