Description

First go at something besides computer speakers. Demo'd the 683 as well and liked the 684's better.

Most played content is 2ch. but I do have some old JBL's for center and rear channel for regular movies.

Currently trying to get some treatments to go on a few walls and corners.

Future plans are for adding an amp to the mix, something like a Rotel or perhaps saving up for tubes (Rogue Audio probably) that would handle future speaker upgrades. Which are more than likely going to be Vandersteens which I very much enjoyed but I didn't really have the cash to buy and drive them at the same time (not to mention space).

684s look amazing!

Great looking start. I am a long time fan of B&W, hard to go wrong there. Look to get the ceter speaker off the ground to raise and center the vocals for movies. Also experiment with different positions for the sub.

Alway remember to make plenty of time to listen.

Never got the chance to listen to the 684s, but have heard good things about them!

Enjoy your system!

looks pretty sweet Gwoarduog...great way to start and a solid base to build from.

How many hours do you get to sit back and enjoy the setup each week? That's what it's all about afterall :)
