I love listen to good quality audio system, but I cannot justify to spend enormous amount of money. There are many other priorities that I still need to take care.
I am pretty happy with this system. When I built this system, I did not know that each of the pieces are actually in the editor choice list of the Absolute Sound Magazine.
The only thing I'd suggest is an area rug between you and the speakers. I think it would help lift the soundstage up onto the front wall and clarify the images. That's all...nice system!
Beautiful system. Simplicity is the key to happiness here. I love that you did not list a slew of interconnects, tweaks, etc. Very nice esthetic choices too, like the room. Enjoy! I did just looking at it...
looks like a very beautiful and satisfying setup. just sharing my opinion re: mordante's comment, one mistake I have made is not putting enough into the source. A great source can stay with you for years and grow with the system. the delivery of audio is of course dependent on the strength of the chain, and it is best to start with a strong first link.
Must be so nice to have a nice big room where you can spread things out! You must not live in southern california! The simplicity and neatness of your system is fantastic! I am thinking about getting some smaller speakers and the SF Cremona Auditors are on my list to check out.
