Description

As a 20-year old student, I chose a realistic budget of $2000 for my first audiosystem.

I decided to build a small 5.1 hometheatre, with a HTPC computer as the main source for music and movies.

A friend of mine suggested to check out Teufel, and I sure did. I fell in love with the Concept S, and my heart will go on for a long time with this first system.

This setup is excellent for watching movies or listening to music with friends. When I'm alone, I prefer my Sennheiser HD 650 headphones for music.

But I already have laid my eyes on Teufel Ultima 7 full range stereospeakers, and that's what I'm probably going to get next, when the time comes for my next audiosystem build, but that's another story for the future.

Now it's time to enjoy this first build of mine:

Chadnliz, thank you for clearing that for me. I thought "planar" came from "planet" and therefor "satellite", heh.
And thanks for the warm welcome, I'm glad to join Audiogon, since I'm getting into audio more and more, day by day.

Jeff1225, thanks! I live in Finland, "the land of booze and polarbears".

Very nice system, I like your relaxing fire! In what country do you live?

Its cool to see younger folks getting into this hobby, tread lightly it becomes habbit forming!
A quick note about your speakers, you descibe them as "Planars" from the picture I can clearly see these are cone and dome or standard speakers, Planars are the likes of Magnepan, Eminent Technology, and Bohlender Graebener.
Welcome to the club, here at Audiogon I am sure you will find great info and equipment.
