Description

Hi!

Just thought I'd share the system that's currently in my living room. I'm curious if others use any of the same equipment and what they have to say about it.

I'm very pleased with how it all sounds, especially when I hook up the Lavry DAC directly into the amplifier section of the NAD integrated (thus bypassing the preamp). No complaints here!!

I also included a pic of my headphone collection which I sometimes hook up to the Lavry DAC (which includes a nice headphone amp.) Most of the time I just hook up my iPod and play them through my Pimeta amp (the large one) and very rarely use the Go-Vibe anymore (the small one). My cans include Grado SR225, Sennheiser HD-595, AKG K701 and Etymotic ER-6i (not pictured).

Thanks for looking =)

Hi Lush,

I'm not sure if you noticed but I'm running the CD changer into a Lavry DAC, which reclocks the digital signal so I'm not too sure what improvements I'd hear. Could you please expand on your thoughts?

I'd agree that moving from optical to S/PDIF (re: NAD) might improve things, at least based on what I've read.

Hey Zep,

I once had LSi speakers; great speaker! If you change your source to even a NAD single disc I think you'll be shocked at how much tighter and deeper your bass response will be.
