System edited: I had an opportunity to match the Morrison Model 19 speakers with amplification in the same price league. Not that the ATI 1502 is a downer, I just wanted to know. The price was right so I moved on it. Excellent choice.
System edited: The economy changing the way it has made me reconsider my spending habits. It made me look a little closer at less expensive components. I've posted a lot of equipment to this forum but an equal amount if not more has not been posted. It's a easier to say after the fact that there are a lot of good inexpensive components on the market. Well that's always been the case. It's technology. It's always growing and it's bigger than a $75.00 .01uf audiophile grade capacitor. It's know-how.
System edited: It's a good thing that the economy has changed the way it did. The change has forced me to explore less-expensive alternatives. Quality of sound is still the deciding factor for any component I purchase, but would I have given notice otherwise. A lot of the equipment from the past has never made the line-up due to the Audio Roller Coaster ride I was enjoying. Going from apetizer to desert in the best High-End shops was a blast.
