Description

I have a few different components that all add up to a giant system. I should first mention that I do have a surround sound setup but I am not exactly into the surround sound at the moment but more into the 2 channel setup.

The system composes of two Monitor Audio RS1's, a Marantz receiver, an M&K subwoofer, a Marantz DVD player as a source, and a Microsoft Zune as a source.

Later to be hooked up will be some Boston speakers: Center Sat 7 for center, Micro90x and Micro80x for surrounds. For those I have Monster Cable XP-CI which is very cool looking wire. (80 cents per foot isn't all that pricey either).

Anyways, enjoy looking around!

    • Marantz SR7500
7.1 surround sound receiver producing 105 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 130 watts per channel at 6 ohms (like in my case). Purchased for around $700
    • Marantz DV4600
Purchased on eBay for $70 brand new. Great unit.
    • Monitor Audio Silver RS1
Absolutely wonderful speakers for the money. Paid 350 dollars brand new for the pair.
    • M&K MX-105 mkII
This is an awesome subwoofer! It could kick the butt of any subwoofer found at Circuit City, Best Buy, Walmart, or anywhere else! It goes deep, it goes loud, and it goes big!!! Gift from my Uncle as a graduation gift so it was free. I point it in corner because it makes it tighten up its sound a little bit.
    • Audioquest CV-4
Cool looking speaker cable. Paid 50 dollars brand new for the pair.
    • Monster Power HTS 3500 MKII
Works great. Absolutely love it. Looks good too! Purchased on eBay as a store display model for $100 after shipping. Then recommended my dad get one so he got one.
    • Sanus NF30
Black, wood stands for my Monitor Audio speakers. Paid 25 dollars for pair brand new. They work good. Have spikes.
