System is roughed in. I'll add another Velo dd10+ and a few more ps power cables. I'll wait for ps audio silent server and a 1tb western digital drive. What Im looking for is a little more lower midrange bloom with out rolling the top octave. Im sixty two (howd that happen) and hearing rolls off at 16k so more at 12k-20k wont hurt. I think the amps' out put impediance (2ohm) is playing with the speakers impedance. One velo dd10 ia enough volumn but crossing at 200hz isnt possible. Maybe get stereo subs and try to cross at 90hz. Would a ZU omen bookshelf help. Room is 14x 11x 8 1/2 Gimme more warmth.
1018 crew flattened to an elipse to eliminate front reflections. Made with three legs for stability with screw adjustable points for speaker tilt. The top plinth is cocabolo one inch thick. Going DAC direct. But the dac has a digital vol control. I'v seen virtual systems where the signals got to go thru ten pieces of equiptment. That isnt my style. My amps only have three tubes. I'm using the six in Omega hemp monitors in a 11x14' shoe box.
Just to claim my system is accurate to the source and able to resolve what kind of resin was applyed to a bow seems to only benefit bragadosia.
