looks great. i few [tens] of thousands above mine...kudos and congrats. What type of room correction do you use (are all the floors without carpeting?). Also, maybe close up the bottom of the furniture, the cabling detracts from the beauty of the components. One day I'll graduate to your system (first need the room for it though :-).).
This system is amazing. It is even a a few steps up from my dream Mac/B&W system. I've also choose Kimber Kable for the interconnects and speaker cable. I've yet to hear a top tier Mac/B&W system like yours, but hope to someday.
that is a really good sounding combination and I know from personal experience. It seems that we have come to a almost identical conclusion. I listen to a very similar set up: B&W 800 signature, MC1201 amps, C200 preamp, Accuphase DP-85 CD player, Kimber Select 3035 and 3038 speaker cables and Kimber Select 1136 interconnects. B&W, McIntosh & Kimber make a perfect marriage. I listen to them without both grills (high and bass grill), it makes a slight difference. I cannot see on the picture well, but if you have not tried till now, maybe it is good to put the aluminium spikes (do not know the exact term for the spikes in the centre of the mid-driver) that came in a separate box from the speakers. And if you intend to spend some more money, you can always do something with the AC. I witnessed great improvement with using High-End AC power Cords & AC Conditioner. Cheers and thanks for sharing
What a wonderful system. I used to have mixed components, some Krell, some Mc, some Cary but when I went to all Mc my enjoyment really increased. I can only aspire to a system like yours. Just seeing it all together is great. One thing I have done with great rewards is serperating all the components, and coupling then to wood with brass footers. Your sound will improve. Thanks for putting your system up for us to view.
