LOVE THE SPEAKERS!!!!! I am a DIYer aswell and really love to see other audiophiles building their own speakers.Maybe we could trade designs sometime. I am using a design now that I have had forever and wouldnt try it because of the minalmist approach to the design....anyway... NO CROSSOVERS... only one cap thats it...I know i know me too but I made them and WOW!!!now Im a believer for sure!
Truely I love it, when I was a musican the hinded wires never made anything sound better, same with Hi-Fi, it just looks cooler to the woman. I like the Tolitarian look and if it sounds good, try hiding the wires and then taking them back out- then you tell us if it sounds any better. I bet the same either way- NICE
Yah, your sick. Most folks mount the wires and gizmos INSIDE the speaker box. Nice work Steve. I am guessing the AR crossover has really got a grip on your speakers. It appears you have a well planned approach for your system and have carried it out successfully.
We need to get together and talk about wires . . .
