Description

Quite a journey over the last 14 years or so to finally get all the pieces together. Many thanks to audiogon, ebay, craigslist, and an understanding wife! Not bad for creating this on a school teacher's salary. I thouroughly enjoy it all I can.

System edited: The addition of the Oppo and direct HDMI video connection makes all the difference. I can finally see what the 1080p noise is all about!

Thanks to all for your comments. Nissan, take a look at either of the first two pictures zoomed in. Both the TV and center channel are sitting on floating shelves. I have access to the back side of the wall and was able to mount them on 1/2 inch threaded steel rods through the studs and sheetrock. When we installed the shelves, I left about one inch between the sub and lower shelf and then two inches above the center channel so that I could mount the IR receiver to the bottom of the TV shelf.

I love the room! Can, I move in...

osahead2

Is your center speakers sitting on top of your sub?

Well Done!!! Congrats on the dedicated room....

You did a great job with that room and system. I would only recommend that you either face your mains straight ahead or only a very minor toe-in. Your soundstage and imaging should improve.
