System edited: I added this tube buffer to the powered subs in my baffles because of the long 8' interconnects...seems to add more texture to the bass.
System edited: Well I have changed a few things with my system and really enjoy the true full range sound of my Signature Open Baffle speakers with built in powered 15" subs.Gone is the Jolida gear and now I have moddified Chinese components...yes Chinese. My system is sounding better than ever now.
Yes what a difference a speaker makes... even though the bass is not as visceral it's quality is now better. These speakers have such a beautiful romantic presentation it's simply seductive. These speaker also soundstage like crazy with great imaging.
Amazing how much difference a speaker can make. Glad you are back in satisfaction land. Thanks for the compliments on my system and room. It is surely nice to gaze out on the mountains rather than at a blank wall. Enjoy the music
I tried silver in this system but enjoy copper more. With silver cables in place the sound was too detailed and up front. You have a very nice system and a beautiful room too.
I agree that Tubes plus a revealing speaker make a nice combination. I started with silver on top in biwire but found copper to be better there at assuring no harshness. Enjoy your nice system Joe
