Description

My system was designed to sound great but also to blend-in with the other furniture in the room.
I wanted the components to look a certain way and I got that.  I wanted to bi-amp using a pair of matching amps that could deliver 300+ watts to 4ohms.  The NAD C298's have that handled. The custom made cabinets turned out great.  Best part is...it sounds awesome.

    • Furman Elite 20 PFi
I had a dedicated 20a line installed for this by the same company that installed my Generac home backup generator.  We have a lot of lightning storms here and even though the backup system has whole home surge protection, I figured $800 was cheap insurance on a $30k system.
    • Anthem AVM70
Easy to set-up and works great right out of the box.  Love the huge display!  Can see it from my seating position.
    • Sony BDP8000
    • SVS PB4000 Powered Subwoofer
Paired seamlessly with the AVM70.  The KEF's have amazing bass but the SVS has the lowest of the lows covered in such a big room.
    • Dutchcrafters Custom-made cabinets
Custom made to match an existing bookcase.  Not cheap but worth it.
    • Sony A9G
The Sony flagship model in it's day.  It's my pride and joy.
    • NAD C298 Amp (2)
I use a pair of these to bi-amp.
    • KEF R11 Meta
    • AC Infinity Fans S8
I love these.  They are quiet and work automatically.  The Class D amps run cool but I wanted them because I've been know to play Led Zeppelin at -20 for hours at a time.
    • AudioQuest cables
    • Performance Audio Speaker Cables
Performance Audio is awesome.  You can choose from different cables, style of banana and they can even label the cables.  Mine are 30ft of 12ga with Kevlar look bananas and labeled bass / treble.
    • Audimute Sound Dampening panels
    Color-matched using a Sherwin-Williams paint code.

Thoughtfully assembled system.

Nice set-up: clean, elegant look, does not overpower living room.
