i replaced my maggie 3.5Rs with open baffle Emerald Physics 3.0s (been so long i forget exact model #) they do things the maggies never did and are an easy load to drive
I had Maggie 3.6's for many years. I wanted to try other speaker types, so I moved on. But there are days that I miss what they could do. On some music they feel so present - so weirdly alive.
Your sub strategy - firing across the front of the speakers - is unusual, at least to me. How does that work in your room?
I always thought if I stayed with Maggies I would get the Magtech amps. You have such a nice set up...
