Description

This is mostly a Laiv Harmony System; I am contemplaing a smaller footprint streamer like the Innuos Pulse-mini, Innuos Stream1, or the Volumio Rivo+ or best of all, the Laiv NET2 when it is released. I will eventually move this all to a better acoustic space for a final setup, and replace the OGY's with new "BLOCK" speakers from Closer Acoustics, about which I cannot enthuse enough!

    • Innuos Innuos ZEN MK3 Streamer

Rips CDs and a superb streamer. Sort of over-sized for my shelf, however.

    • Laiv Harmony Laiv Harmony DAC
Balanced discrete R-2R architecture - superb quality sound
    • Laiv Harmony Laiv Harmony GaNM monoblocks
Two monoblock high-performance Class-D amplifiers built using Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology. Its output is characterized by a power output of 200 watts per channel into an 8-ohm load.
    • Laiv Harmony Laiv Harmony uDDC
    Laiv Harmony micro digital-digital converter
    • Laiv Harmony Laiv Harmony HP2A
    Pre-amplifier and headphone amplifier
    • Closer Acoustics Closer Acoustics OGY/BOB

A set of Closer Acoustics OGY loudspeakers - the Piano Black acrylic stone version, coupled with two Walnut Closer Acoustics BOB - Bass Open Baffle units  (two pairs - or four units) - Piano black fronts with solid walnut side panels. I added the Closer Acoustics isolation speaker platform as well.

    • Kinki Studio and Vinshine Audio Kinki Studio and Vinshine Taihang Power Enhancer

It eliminates for the most part EMI and DC interference, creating a very quiet background, and provides a stable and continuous high-speed power supply. Made a noticeable difference.

They fill the relatively small space of the office with great sound. They could fill a much bigger space as well, I think. My dogs and cats are indifferent to sound - except those of all those potential murderers and robbers that they think they hear.

*L* Dogs will never be 'philes, but our Boykin/Dach likes to watch other animals on the screen....
The cats are not impressed by either...
As a Walsh fan-geriatric, yours likely yearn for some wide-open spaces, but I relate to being hemmed in....
Have made-do with worse, enjoy yours..
Enjoy, J
