Description

This system combines the Old and the New.
I have spent a few years warming the sound system up. The SP-6B provides most of this, especially the phono preamp. The #27 is surprisingly smooth.and has enough ooommpf to easily drive the f208s. Tube amps never worked as well nor sounded as good.
No digital EQ. I could never get it to work very well. 
I usually cue up records. I've got nothing against digital, I just prefer the sound of records.
EQ is tweaked with the guidance of REW and my ears.

    I'm very fond of the sound. The dynamics and punch are better than the Bryston BDA-3. 

    The sound is a bit warmer than the BDA-3, but not too warm. Nicely complements the other components

    I still use the BDP-3 but only as a music server (storage).  A 2TB USB SSD drive is attached to the SACD 30n.
