Hi,
Sophia1 or 2 compare with Sasha2 is not much difference, the Wilson sound stay the Wilson sound!
But the bigger difference is the mid, mid is more forward with the Sophia, so because it is more backward with the Sasha it tends to be smoother, especially with old recording. Bass it also a bit tighter. High frequency is not much different, I was surprise with that. Sasha will fill more if you have a larger room.
yes bigger difference is the mid, smoother, voice less aggressive. But both are a very good choice.  I want to sell either one because I already have Sophia2 upstairs that will go downstairs. 23 000$cdn for Sasha2 (Mint condition bought at Take5Audio) and 6500$cdn for Sophia1
Have a nice day.

Great looking systems.

How would you describe the sound of your Sophia 1 to the Sasha 2?  I have Sophia 1 and have loved them for about 8 years.  I find their sound incredibly smooth and never bright but with a great amount of detail.  I simply want more of it all but have found the Alexia 1, Sasha DAW and Yvette all bright in my system with the soft dome tweeter.  According to Wilson and dealers, I am experiencing the opposite of what they expect.  Have you ever tried any newer Wilsons with the soft dome?
