My new digs since retiring are in a 3 level contemporary in Vermont. The main system is on the lower level of the house. The main level of the house contains a great room with a loft. I installed a smaller setup in the loft consisting of a Counterpoint/Adcom/Magnepan rig. Right now there is an inexpensive belt drive tt with a Nagoka cart and a WiiM Pro streaming device playing tunes via Tidal.
When I moved, I downsized by selling my Walker Audio Proscenium Gold tt and big Quicksilver Audio M135 monos.
The new space downstairs is a little small but sounds quite good with minimal treatments by RPG
In addition, there is a WiiM Pro streamer into a Apos Audio DAC feeding the Allnic line stage running Tidal service. Digital audio has come a long way toward closing the gap between it and a good analog setup.
