Lurch what an awesome system! That 401 is a work of art I can imagine how great it sounds. And I've heard that Lector before killer CD player I love the sound of their digital gear. And I've seen Heco Direkt speakers before, love the MCM vibe, but not that model it looks pretty serious I bet those 845s drive them well.
Yes it is beautiful in the flesh, it's 6 sided, with only the front LH corner being 90⁰.
Paul Knipe the artisan woodworker who owns Solid Sounds and built it, said it was a pig to clad due to all the weird angles. I was heavily involved in the design, much to his chagrin, I think he was getting fed up with me keep calling with, or sending in sketched amendments/ideas.
Well, many cool things to like, but for now, let's sing the praises of that wonderful plinth for the Garrard!! I designed my own, and I just had yet another rectangle. This is a piece of sculpture, and would make it fun to interact with that old classic every day.
