Thats a very cool and simple system. I've thought about bringing home those exact McIntosh pieces for a pair of Totem's. I too once ran the Mira 3 integrated and a Rega CD Player (the Planet2000).
Yes it does. It works hard but it does suffice. These Martin Logans are the smallest in their line of electrostats. They are fairly efficient and easier to drive than the more expensive, larger models. There are also rumors that the Mira is conservatively rated.
Don't get me wrong it would be nice to have a high current McIntosh. But the Rega does an above average job. It plays the music with a sheer sense of speed, the instruments have a pretty accurate presence in space and it describes all of the instruments (except for the lowest bass notes) eloquently.
