Description

7.2.2 Atmos system controlled by Anthem and driven by Butler/Lexicon amplification in a finished basement.

All three mains are bi-amped with 150w tubes driving the mid/tweeter sections and 200w solid state to the woofers.

Interconnects are mostly AQ Black Mamba for RCAs, AQ King Cobra XLRs, AQ Irish Red for the subs, and Pangea Audio AC-9 MKII for the amps and Anthem.

Recent addition of the AudioQuest PowerQuest 707 has tightened everything up and added heft to the system.   All wiring has been run in-wall as well and all ceiling tiles in the drop ceiling have R-13 insulation laying across them to reduce vibrations. Theater space is openly connected to a 18'x10' secondary part of the room on the left with a bar space connected for a total space of about 18'x22'.

Awesome space.  i biamp mains too with tubes on top and solid state amps for the bass drivers.  I think it works phenomenally.

I don't have the elevated rear speakers like you have and always considered it.

I have a nad processor and took serious interest in an anthem 70 processor but they delayed making them a few years ago due to a factory fire and had to buy something else.

Love the sofa thing going on.
