Very nice setup! I have the same pre-amp and amp combo :)

What are the small Square boxes on top of the amplifiers, are they helpful?

How did the new tubes compare to the stock tubes on the amplifiers?  Did you see a change when you replaced the power tips or more of a change for the small tubes

Lovely space.

@lalitk I think one of my priorities would be gear I can physically move/carry myself 😆.
We don’t have a new space yet, so that will factor in. Cheers

@ventoux That sounds like a big transition, but it makes sense to downsize if you don’t need all that space anymore. Have you thought about what’s your new system will be like?  I am in a similar spot, selling my entire system and hopefully end up with a compact version as my new space will be lot smaller. Good luck with your transition!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I thought I should post some pics before we sell our home this spring. It's been a great space for the last 7 years, but time to move on. Soon to be empty nesters & we don't need such a big house anymore.
That said, I am selling off most of my gear & downsizing my system. the McIntosh Amps &pre-amp and Canton speakers are all for sale. If anyone is in the SF Bay area, local viewing/listening before they get packed up in original boxes.

Fantastic system and what a gorgeous room too! Looks like an amazing setting to relax and listen.

This is a beautiful system and room, I bet it sounds sublime! I guess with a pair of MC-2301, you don’t need to use fireplace in winters :-) I am huge fan of Core Audio, I see you still own his original racks, whatever Arnold builds, it lasts forever. Enjoy!

What a lovely set up! The visual element is gracious - I assume the sound matches the vibe. I very much like seeing a record collection that likely costs more than your system. I have a collection like that, and it always feels like the right proportion of my resources. Someday, I may get a Dr. Feickert 'table, the one that holds two tonearms - like the Blackbird or Firebird.

Anyway, I like your room, records and equipment very much.
